The Role of a Science Teacher (Amersham)

Your Responsibilities as a Science Teacher ( Amersham)

• Deliver high-quality and engaging Science lessons tailored to individual learning needs
• Teach across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics where appropriate
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment
• Support students' academic achievement and confidence development
• Assess progress effectively and adapt teaching approaches to maximise outcomes
• Collaborate closely with colleagues, parents, and support staff to promote student success

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting
• Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
• A patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic teaching style
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• A genuine passion for inspiring young people through Science
