Overview

As Student Ambassador for ACES Edinburgh, you will support ACES in engaging under‑represented and disadvantaged young people interested in studying art, design, or architecture  will assist in delivering a range of events from portfolio preparation to talks, both online and in‑person.

Responsibilities
  • Support the ACES Portfolio Preparation Programme on Fridays 13:00‑18:00 from 11 September 2026 to 22 January 2027.
  • Help plan and run portfolio preparation and other student engagement events.
  • Assist participants and staff to achieve the programme’s goals.
Qualifications
  • Current full‑time, matriculated student in the School of Design or ESALA at Edinburgh College of Art for the 2026‑27 academic year.
  • Understanding of and empathy for students targeted by widening participation programmes.
  • Excellent interpersonal, flexibility and time‑management skills.
  • Team‑player who supports colleagues and participants.
  • Availability to work Fridays 13:00‑18:00 between 11 September 2026 and 22 January 2027.
