Site Engineer / Geologist — Glasgow (Fully site-based)

Salary - £30,000 / year + van and fuel car

Permanent Role

Ground Investigation Contractor

• Supervise and manage teams on small to medium sized geotechnical ground investigation projects on site, ensuring compliance in a technical, commercial, and HSEQ sense.
• Log rock and soil samples (e.g., boreholes and trial pits) and carry out field testing and surveying, among other requirements.

• Degree level qualification in a related field (such as Geology or Geotechnical Engineering, etc.).
• Minimum of 2 years' experience conducting ground investigations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and hold a full UK driving license (role requires travel to various sites).

• Van and fuel card.
• Annual leave from 24 days increasing each year up to 29 days plus 8 bank holidays.
• Equipment including a mobile phone and laptop.

• £15/night disruption allowance when working away and £20/day subsistence allowance when working away.
