Revenue Analyst

To support the Revenue Accountant and the financial accounting team to ensure accuracy and completeness of Revenue and support the Revenue Business Partner with timely Revenue reporting.

• Ensure company Revenue and Finance processes are up to date and efficient with relevant process notes.
• Perform the daily to identify the number of passengers flown each day.
• To update the daily sales totals.
• Using system reports identify customers to be invoiced through the corporate billing. process and raise invoices. Ensure full audit trail exists for statutory audit.
• Reconcile revenue received for the various revenue streams.
• Carry out month end first draft postings for scheduled service, charter and other income.
• Provide our revenue partners with answers to daily queries received.
• Maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist in reconciling the monthly forward sales figure.
• Prepare month end reports for subsidies.
• Prepare and analyse periodic interline and codeshare data.
• Chargeback management including compilation.
• Refund Control.
• BSP, Vivaldi, ICCS reports saving.

• Represent finance in any revenue/commercial meetings and for any projects being carried out within commercial;
• Ensure all financial and accounting records are thoroughly maintained and completed in preparation for independent audits;
• Monitoring and evaluating financial information systems and suggesting improvements where needed;
• Present at meetings as and when required;
• Assist with projects in support of key corporate initiatives as defined by the Board
• Any other reasonable duties as required by the finance and engineering department.

• Airline or travel industry experience desirable;
• Experience understanding of ticketing and reservation systems desirable;
• AAT or working towards AAT or equivalent desirable but not essential;
• 1 – 2 years operating within a finance team or accountancy role
• Comfortable working on an integrated accounting package together with a detailed knowledge of core office systems – particularly Excel.
