Eden Scott Accountancy & Finance Division are delighted to be supporting a growing business in West Lothian as they seek an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their growing team.

Reporting into the Finance Manager, this is a varied role where you’ll be exposed to the wider finance team, with key duties including:

• Customer account reconciliations, cash receipts, and bank reconciliations
• Maintaining accounts receivable ageing reports and resolving customer queries
• Assisting with management accounts preparation, journal postings, and audit support
• Preparing VAT returns and balance sheet reconciliations
• Processing supplier invoices and resolving supplier queries
• Maintaining and updating customer and supplier databases

• Driven and motivated
• Experienced in a similar role
• Strong in analytical skills and attention to detail
• Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• IT literate and comfortable working with finance systems
