An established organisation is looking for an Accounts Administrator to join its finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a well-rounded finance professional with strong Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger experience to join a collaborative team and play an important role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of a successful commercial business.
The role
You will support a range of day-to-day finance activities, including:
- Processing sales and purchase transactions
- Handling invoices, payments and purchase orders
- Maintaining cashbook and accounting records
- Checking financial information and resolving discrepancies
- Processing expenses and other finance administration
- Supporting month-end and audit activities
- Responding to finance queries from colleagues and stakeholders
- Assisting with improvements to finance processes
About you
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in Purchase and Sales Ledger
- Strong attention to detail and numerical ability
- Good Excel skills
- Experience working to deadlines in a busy environment
- A reliable, organised and proactive approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
