A nursing home in the Paisley area has an exciting opportunity for an experienced RGN or RMN or RNLD Registered Nurse to work as Deputy Manager.

• Permanent contract, working full‑time hours on day shifts
• 2 days supernumerary hours included
• Salary £52,000 per annum
• Ongoing training and development opportunities
• Annual NMC Pin renewal paid and full PVG disclosure
• Be part of the on‑call rota system

• Work alongside the Home Manager in the day‑to‑day running of the home
• Coordinate and manage the care and nursing staff
• Lead the delivery of person‑centred care for residents with dementia and nursing needs
• Complete clinical assessments, update care plans, and produce detailed risk assessments
• Administer and order medication
• Supervise, appraise, and develop staff, ensuring effective performance management
• Support clinical audits and ensure compliance with Care Inspectorate standards

• NMC registered Adult General Nurse/RGN or Mental Health Nurse/RMN or Learning Disabilities Nurse/RNLD
• Previous experience in a deputy manager or senior clinical leadership role
• Confident in leading, developing, and motivating a team of Nurses and Care Assistants
• Good knowledge of Care Inspectorate standards
• Excellent communication skills with a sensitive and empathetic approach
