Key Account Manager - Allergies

Position: Account Manager - Allergies/ Immunotherapy

Location: Scotland

Client: Pharmaceuticals

• Lead the promotion and sales of a specialist Allergy Immunotherapy product across Scotland, with a strong focus on Secondary Care stakeholders (ENT, Allergy, Respiratory specialists).
• Develop and implement strategic Key Account Plans tailored to individual NHS Boards and key hospital accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants in Allergy, ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat), and Respiratory, as well as specialist nurses, pharmacists, and key decision‑makers.
• Identify and unlock opportunities through effective stakeholder mapping and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Support and contribute to IC/Market Access activities, demonstrating awareness of local pathways, funding mechanisms, and formulary processes.
• Deliver high‑impact, engaging product discussions both face‑to‑face and via phone/virtual channels, ensuring strong customer engagement.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and local healthcare priorities to adapt account strategy accordingly.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure successful product uptake and patient access.

• Proven experience as a Key Account Manager within the UK pharmaceutical industry (Scotland experience preferred).
• Strong Secondary Care experience (essential), with preference for candidates who also have Primary Care exposure.
• Experience with in Allergy, Immunotherapy, ENT, or Respiratory therapy areas highly desirable.
• Understanding or awareness of IC structures and Market Access processes, including formulary submissions and local funding pathways.
• Demonstrated ability to develop strategic account plans and deliver results in a complex NHS environment.
