Overview

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to take forward an integral project around Health and Social Care Partnerships Primary Care Improvement Plans and the transformational agenda that is currently being taken forward in General Practice. The post holder will be part of the GP Re‑provisioning Programme Team supporting our 200+ GP Practices as they move to a new clinical system by June 2027.

Location, and Working Pattern

This is a fixed‑term post until June 2027. 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This post will be based at Smith hills Paisley.

Key Responsibilities

You will support the implementation of the new clinical system. We require an experienced and enthusiastic Facilitator to work with the Programme Team, GP practices and other facilitation staff within the Health Board. This role will include delivering training programmes and training materials for a range of clinical and non‑clinical staff. The role will also assist GP Practices to quality‑assure the data that has been migrated to the new clinical system.

Key systems will include Vision 3, Vision Anywhere and Docman.

Working closely with healthcare professionals across the Health Board, you will contribute to how digital technology will help transform services to provide a truly integrated and modern health and social care service.

Knowledge, Training, Qualifications and/or Experience Required to Do the Job

You should possess a degree in a relevant discipline or have significant experience in a similar role. Previous experience within eHealth or Primary Care would be advantageous, excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise and manage your own workload area are also essential. An understanding of digital training, e‑learning, learning management systems and GP clinical systems would be advantageous.
