About

The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to lead our paid social growth channel on Meta (Facebook) and associated platforms (Instagram, Reels, Audience Network). This is a hands‑on growth marketing role: you’ll own the paid social strategy, execute campaigns, run rigorous tests, measure incrementality, and manage multi‑million‑dollar budgets. You’ll partner closely with creative, analytics, product, and growth teams to ensure Cleo is making the most of paid social to acquire, activate, and retain users at scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the full funnel paid social channel on Meta: from building campaigns, setting budgets, choosing creatives, to analysing performance and making optimisations.
  • Manage an eight‑figure annual budget across Meta platforms, allocating spend, optimising bids/placements and ensuring efficiency and scale.
  • Develop and rigorous incrementality testing frameworks to understand the true impact of paid social, designing hold‑out tests, lift studies, and ensuring measurement integrity.
  • Lead creative testing and optimisation: briefing creative, collaborating with design teams, testing different formats (Stories, Reels, Carousel, UGC) and surfacing what works.
  • Drive experimentation across event‑tracking, optimisation strategy, custom audiences/lookalikes, and emerging Meta features to push performance ahead of curve.
  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance in depth, not just surface metrics (e.g. CPA/ROAS) but trends, cohort behaviour, LTV impact, retention and incremental value. Use these insights to iterate and scale.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Growth, Analytics, Product, and Marketing teams to align on target audiences, attribution frameworks, measurement, and creative strategy.
  • Establish a regular review rhythm: dashboards, weekly/monthly deep dives, sprint‑style experiment planning and performance reviews. Communicate insights and strategy to senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure we’re continuously improving our paid social operating model, best practices, process improvements, tooling, and knowledge sharing across the team.
What We're Looking For
  • 4+ years minimum hands‑on experience in paid social/paid acquisition, with significant exposure on Meta/Facebook/Instagram.
  • Proven experience managing large‑scale paid social budgets and delivering measurable impact at scale.
  • Strong experience in designing and interpreting incrementality or lift studies (e.g. hold‑out testing, incrementality measurement), you know how to prove value of paid social beyond standard attribution.
  • Deep expertise in Meta’s ad ecosystem:
Ads Manager, Advantage+, SKAN/AEM, custom audiences/lookalikes, placement optimisation, creative formats (Reels, Stories, etc). You stay up to date with Meta’s evolving features and can quickly adopt new tactics.
  • Analytical mindset: comfortable with querying data sets, funnel breakdown and ideally SQL or a BI tool.
  • Creative mindset + test‑and‑learn ethos: you brief creative, drive A/B and multivariate tests, iterate quickly and scale what works.
  • Strong collaboration & stakeholder skills: you’ll work across Growth, Product, Analytics and Marketing…
