We are looking to recruit an End User Support Officers to work as part of our ICT End User Support Team ensuring that effective support is in place for Council staff and buildings.

You will work across all Renfrewshire Council premises supporting WiFi and Hub rooms as well as desk and user set up. This includes supporting devices such as Laptops, smartphones and tablets with the associated hardware and software packages. We are looking for people interested in making our ICT Service best in class by providing effective customer service and the best technical solutions possible.

• Work across all Renfrewshire Council premises supporting WiFi and Hub rooms and desk/user set up.
• Provide end‑user support for devices such as laptops, smartphones and tablets.
• Maintain building technology such as switches, Wi‑Fi and network points.
• Communicate effectively with staff and students.

• HND in a computer related discipline or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience of end‑user support in a customer‑facing role and technical solutions for end‑user devices.
• Experience maintaining technology for buildings, e.g., switches, Wi‑Fi, network points.
• Effective communication and IT skills.
• Driving licence and experience in a local government IT support environment is desirable.
