Job Description & How to Apply Below

Delighted to be working with a well-established food manufacturing business based in Fife who are looking to recruit a Supply Chain Planner to join their team.

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems and being at the heart of a busy manufacturing operation.

You'll play an important role in ensuring production plans are accurate, materials are available when needed and customer orders are delivered on time.

With changing customer demands, tight deadlines and a fast-paced environment, no two days will be the same!

What you'll be doing:
  • Creating and maintaining production plans based on customer orders and sales forecasts.
  • Managing raw material requirements to ensure production runs smoothly.
  • Monitoring production performance and adjusting schedules as priorities change.
  • Analysing sales forecasts, customer demand and stock levels to support effective planning.
  • Working closely with Production, Procurement, Distribution and Customer Account Managers.
  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure materials arrive on time.
  • Maintaining accurate product information and planning data within the ERP system.
  • Monitoring stock levels and shelf life to minimise waste and maximise efficiency.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve planning processes and overall supply chain performance.
We're looking for someone who has:
  • Previous experience in supply chain, production planning or a similar role within manufacturing.
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data.
  • Experience using ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidence communicating with different departments and stakeholders.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and willingness to get involved.

You don't need to know everything from day one! We're keen to speak with individuals who have the right attitude, strong analytical ability and a genuine interest in developing their career within Supply Chain.
