Manufacturing Operator

Duration:
Full Time - Immediate Start Available

Salary: £13.20 per hour + 25% shift allowance (£16.50 per hour equivalent)

Are you reliable, hands‑on and looking for an opportunity to develop a career within manufacturing? We're looking for a Manufacturing Operator to join a busy and supportive production team in Paisley. Whether you have previous manufacturing experience or are looking to take your first step into the industry, full training will be provided.

You’ll play an important role in producing high‑quality products within a cleanroom environment, working as part of a team that is committed to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

The Role

As a Manufacturing Operator, you’ll be responsible for supporting the production process and ensuring products are manufactured to the highest quality standards.

Working within a cleanroom environment, you’ll follow detailed instructions and procedures, safely operate equipment and help ensure production targets are achieved.

Shift Pattern
  • Week 1:
    Early Shift, 6:00am to 2:00pm
  • Week 2:
    Night Shift, 10:00pm to 6:00am
  • Week 3:
    Back Shift, 2:00pm to 10:00pm – 37.5 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble components and products following work instructions and procedures
  • Read and follow manufacturing documentation accurately
  • Carry out visual quality inspections throughout the production process
  • Complete production records and documentation accurately

    Operate production equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain high standards of quality, safety and housekeeping
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production targets
  • Identify and escalates any quality or safety concerns
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities

  • Repetitive assembly tasks
  • Wearing PPE and cleanroom protective clothing
  • Working rotating shifts, including nights
