We are seeking two new directors to fill vacancies in our Board of Directors. We are particularly looking for applications from individuals with expertise or experience in finance, charity governance, public relations/communications, and fundraising.
Previous experience working in ecology or the wider biodiversity network, including as a service user of Local Environmental Records Centre (LERC) data, would be desirable.
The Wildlife Information Centre (TWIC) is an environmental charity with an established reputation for excellence in the provision of biodiversity data within south-east and part of central Scotland.
With 3.6 FTE staff plus volunteers, TWIC currently holds 4.57 million species records as well as extensive habitats and designated sites information.
Our programme of events supports new and existing recorders and stimulates interest in biological recording among the wider public.
As a Director and Charity Trustee, you will be able to contribute to the success and future development of the organisation and help ensure TWIC meets its legal and charitable obligations.
