QUEENS UNIVERSITY BELFAST is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Ice-Core Tephrochronology and Ash-Dispersion Modelling for its SMASHING project. The successful candidate will work on analyzing cryptotephra samples and running ash-dispersion simulations to study climate impacts from volcanic eruptions.
A PhD in a relevant field is required, alongside experience in geochemical analysis and a strong publication record. Communication skills and an ability to collaborate internationally are vital for this role.
