Pay starts from £13.28 per hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.

It is our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week. If you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12), there are opportunities available and we would still love to hear from you.

The availability windows show the periods of time in the week we would like you to be available to work. We will schedule contracted hours within these times and provide 3 weeks’ notice of exact shift times. We are happy to support flexibility; if your availability matches closely but not exactly, we would still love to hear from you.

What you will do
  • Know your customers and serve them with passion and pride; provide great natural service.
  • Be knowledgeable about products and services within the store.
  • Work across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
  • Apply training to work safely, effectively and to serve customers brilliantly.
  • Make decisions that are right for customers and deliver routines that meet customer needs.
  • Participate in seasonal, community and charity events to create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Understand store performance and collaborate to drive service, sales, reduce waste, shrinkage and deliver profit.
  • Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in good condition.
  • Represent the store’s values and follow policies.
  • Occasionally accept deliveries into the store.
