Join our sales team at Thermo Fisher Scientific where youll make a meaningful impact helping customers advance scientific discovery and improve human health. As a Cell Culture Consumables Specialist youll use your scientific expertise and consultative sales skills to build strong relationships with customers across academia biotech and pharmaceutical sectors. Youll manage a defined territory primarily through phone email and virtual engagement with some travel to customer sites.

You will also work closely with our channel partners to drive business across a range of sales channels.

Youll contribute to revenue growth by identifying new opportunities developing existing accounts and providing solutions that help customers achieve their research and clinical goals. Youll receive comprehensive training in our extensive product portfolio and professional selling techniques equipping you to have meaningful technical discussions and craft effective value propositions.

A Day in the Life:

Manage a defined sales territory by building and maintaining relationships with customers in academia biotechnology and pharmaceutical organizations. Identify new business opportunities grow existing accounts and provide consultative solutions that support customer research and clinical objectives. Collaborate with channel partners and internal cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth and customer success.

What to expect:

Manage customer interactions through phone email virtual meetings and occasional site visits
Develop and expand relationships within existing accounts
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory
Deliver technical product information and value-based sales presentations
Collaborate with channel partners to drive sales growth
Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records in CRM systems
Participate in ongoing product and sales training programs
Travel up to 25% for customer meetings and business activities

Keys to Success:

Education

Masters degree required
Preferred fields of study include Biology Molecular Biology Biochemistry or related life science disciplines

Experience

Successful sales experience preferably within life sciences or a related scientific field
Hands-on laboratory experience or technical background in molecular biology cell biology or related areas preferred
Demonstrated success building and maintaining customer relationships
Proven record of achieving sales targets and business objectives

Knowledge Skills Abilities

Strong understanding of life science research workflows and applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to discuss technical concepts effectively
Proficiency with CRM systems preferably Salesforce and Microsoft Office applications
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a matrix environment
Fluency in English required; additional languages beneficial
Valid drivers license and willingness to travel up to 25%
