Relief Security Officer – DWP Contract (Glasgow Area)

£12.71 per hour |
Glasgow & Surrounding Areas (Paisley, Clydebank and more)

Relief Officer required to cover sites in and around Glasgow. Applicants must be able to travel across all assigned sites. Protect people and support communities. Build your career.

As a Relief Security Officer, you will be a visible and professional presence across DWP locations, helping to maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

• Cover security duties across multiple DWP sites
• Protect staff, visitors and government property
• Respond calmly and effectively to incidents and emergencies
• Conduct patrols and identify potential risks
• Complete reports and maintain accurate records
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times
• Work independently and alongside emergency services when required

We’re seeking reliable and professional individuals who can confidently work across a range of locations.

• Previous security experience
• Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
• Full UK driving licence
• Access to your own vehicle
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Flexible, professional and dependable attitude
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
