HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER – NEW PASS WELCOME –

Location:

Paisley;
Shift Pattern: 24-hour operation – Days and Nights available;
Pay Rate: £14.50 – £18.00 per hour

People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Paisley

• Drive Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations
• Carry out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Load and unload cargo safely with the assistance of a Driver’s Mate
• Deliver kitchen and bedroom products to customer homes
• Follow assigned delivery routes while adhering to time schedules
• Ensure all goods are handled carefully and delivered on time
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving standards
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs promptly

• Hold a valid UK Category C Licence
• Hold a valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements (no major endorsement codes)
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Strong understanding of UK driving and road regulations
• Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines

• Experience driving commercial vehicles
• Experience delivering large or bulky goods
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience
• Customer-facing delivery experience

• Full industry-related training and ongoing support provided throughout your assignment.
