We are working with a well-established logistics business to recruit an experienced Operations Manager to lead and develop their transport operation.
This is a hands‑on leadership role where you will play a key part in ensuring efficient, compliant, and cost‑effective operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee daily transport planning and operations
- Manage fleet and driver performance
- Deliver against operational KPIs and budget targets
- Ensure compliance with tachograph and WTD regulations
- Drive continuous improvement across the operation
- Lead and develop operational teams
- Proven experience in transport or logistics operations management
- Strong background in general haulage or container logistics
- Solid understanding of transport compliance and regulations
- Effective leadership and communication skills
