HGV Class 1 Night Driver

HGV Class 1 Night Driver Ongoing Work £17.00 per hour Location Sheffield Pertemps Sheffield is currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Night Drivers for regular, ongoing work with a leading logistics company.

The Role Monday to Friday Night shifts starting between 2:00pm and 6:00pm Regular ongoing work A mix of trunking between RDCs, store deliveries and RDC-to-store deliveries Complete vehicle checks before each shift Ensure all delivery paperwork and PODs are completed accurately Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism Comply with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and tachograph regulations Follow all site health and safety procedures Requirements Valid HGV Class 1 (Category CE) licence Valid Driver CPC Valid Digital Tachograph Card Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience No more than 6 penalty points (no DD or DR convictions) Good knowledge of Driver Hours and Working Time Directive regulations Reliable with a professional attitude and excellent communication skills Successful applicants will be required to pass a driving assessment before starting work.
