Night Shift Warehouse Operator
Location: Paisley, Renfrewshire
Salary: £36,013 per annum
Hours: Sunday to Thursday | 6:00pm - 3:00am

As a Warehouse Operator, you'll play a key role in ensuring customer orders are picked, prepared and dispatched accurately, helping the overnight operation run efficiently and ensuring drivers leave on schedule each morning.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Accurately picking customer orders using handheld scanning, ensuring products are selected correctly and prepared for dispatch to meet customer requirements.
- Loading delivery vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring all orders are complete, securely loaded and ready for drivers to leave on schedule.
- Organising and storing products within the warehouse, ensuring stock is correctly located, easily accessible and maintained to support efficient warehouse operations.
- Operating warehouse equipment, including pump trucks, powered pallet trucks (PPTs) and forklifts, following company procedures and health and safety standards.
- Using handheld RF scanners to record stock movements, verify order accuracy and maintain high levels of inventory accuracy throughout the shift.
- Carrying out manual handling and general warehouse duties, ensuring goods are handled safely and efficiently at all times.
- Working closely with colleagues across the night shift to maintain productivity, meet operational deadlines and keep the warehouse running smoothly throughout the night.
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping by keeping work areas clean, organised and compliant with health and safety regulations.

To be successful, you'll have:
- Previous warehouse, logistics or distribution experience, or transferable skills from a similar environment
- A reliable work history and strong work ethic
- A positive attitude with good communication and teamwork skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Good levels of physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual handling duties
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn and develop within the business
