Solar Site Lead​/Supervisor

Overview

Origis Energy Services is seeking a Solar Site Lead/Supervisor. Origis Energy is accelerating the transition to a carbon-free future by Reimagining ZeroSM. We deploy sustainable solutions for grid power generation, performance optimization, and long-term operation of solar and energy storage plants across the U.S. Founded in 2008, Origis Energy is headquartered in Miami, FL.

Palatka, FL. Travel:
Regional travel may occasionally be required to support site demands. Hourly rate: $30-$50/hour.

• Role Modeling Technical Capability: demonstrate the highest technical standards and serve as a role model for safety, quality, and operational excellence.
• Leadership Attributes: maintain high standards in personal leadership, communication, organization, interpersonal behavior, and team delegation.
• Process Implementation: ensure company methods and procedures are fully implemented and owned by the team; contribute to process improvement as needed.
• Team Development: build site-wide training and development programs; support talent rotation and succession planning.
• Operate as on-site technical and safety expert; provide training and mentorship for site technicians.
• Manage Safety and Accident Prevention Programs; conduct regular safety inspections and briefings; ensure compliance with safety protocols and emergency procedures.
• Oversee equipment maintenance, troubleshooting of electrical components, and daily inspections to ensure safe and optimal operation.
• Coordinate with contractors and OEM vendors; maintain accurate documentation (work orders, time entries, emergency protocols).
• Maintain inventory control, spare parts usage, and ensure high-quality control of tools, vehicles, and materials.
• Maintain compliance with established standards and procedures; pursue continuing education to meet safety and plant requirements.
• May be required to work outside normal hours and participate in on-call rotation.

• Minimum
  
  Certifications:
  
  OSHA 30-Hour (General Industry), NFPA 70E – Workplace Electrical Safety, First Aid/CPR/AED.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Valid driver’s license;
  Inverter Specialist or Solar Technician with 3+ years experience; knowledge of renewable energy, DC array technology; excellent written and verbal communication; ability to perform basic electrical calculations and read schematics; ability to work independently and manage priorities; physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs; ability to pass background check and drug screen.
