PositionDescription
Origis Services, LLC is a rapidly expanding Operations and Maintenance provider in the United States. Our solar asset portfolio continues to increase at a near exponential rate, with a mixture of owner‑developed and constructed sites and third‑party sites contracted, or already under management. We are looking for a Site Lead/Supervisor to maintain a utility‑scale solar power plant, troubleshoot, test, repair, and install equipment in designated locations in accordance with established standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain utility‑scale solar power plants in accordance with established standards and procedures; always maintain safety and professionalism.
- Troubleshoot system problems and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Apply troubleshooting skills to electrical components using digital multimeters, meggers, amp clamps, and similar equipment; conduct daily mechanical and electrical inspections of installed equipment.
- Document work orders, service orders, time logs, and emergency information schedules.
- Maintain equipment maintenance and tool control programs.
- Manage site safety and accident prevention programs.
- Run the area or site training program.
- Maintain inventory control of assigned equipment to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Ensure high quality control on provided tools, vehicles, and materials.
- Train, mentor, and develop Solar Technicians.
- Ensure continuing education to meet safety and plant requirements.
- Maintain the plant’s vegetation requirements, including mowing and spraying routinely.
- Be available for weekend and holiday work, including on‑call service via telephone or text.
- Valid driver’s license (required).
- Inverter Specialist or Solar Technician with 3+ years’ experience; knowledgeable of renewable‑energy peculiarities and expertise in DC array technology.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to perform basic electrical calculations and read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow independently with minimal supervision.
- Physical capability to lift up to 80 lbs.
- Effective communication skills with people at all levels and from diverse backgrounds.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
