Support PCMC’s hallmarks of service excellence and quality. Under the general direction of the Director of Medical Imaging, perform routine and specialized ultrasound procedures for the detection of pathology. Identify each patient, review physician orders for consistency with clinical information, assess patient condition, and ensure patient safety through proper use of immobilization devices. Demonstrate commitment to professional growth and competence.
Responsibilities- Support PCMC’s hallmarks of service excellence and quality for all job responsibilities.
- Under the general direction of the Director of Medical Imaging, perform routine and specialized ultrasound procedures for the purpose of detecting pathology.
- Identify each patient and review physician orders for consistency with clinical information.
- Assess patient condition and ensure patient safety through proper use of immobilization devices.
- Demonstrate commitment to professional growth and competence.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with ARDMS or ARRT (S).
- Completion of an ultrasound program.
