About the job: REGISTERED NURSE - MED/SURG
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Registered Nurse candidates for the Med/Surg Unit will have the following responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
- Provide direct bedside nursing care to pre- and post-surgery patients, including evaluating medical information.
- Prepare, administer, and document prescribed medications.
- Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
- Adjust medical equipment as needed and interpret measurements.
- Monitor patient vitals and report adverse reactions promptly.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- At least 1 year of Acute Care Med/Surg RN experience.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Registered Nurse license.
- Associate Degree in Nursing.
Salary Range: $29.73/hr (minimum) to $37.75/hr (mid, for 10+ years of experience), up to $43.20/hr (for 18+ years of experience).
Shift Differentials: $4.25/hr for night shifts and $2.00/hr for weekends.
Sign-on Bonus: Case-by-case basis; discussed with the recruiter.
