Environmental Health Safety Specialist

Trillium Pumps Italy is looking for an  EHS Specialist .
EHS Specialist will support managers in different sites of Trillium Pumps Italy in the implementation of the organization’s health and safety procedures so that all employees have a safe and healthy working environment, and the organization complies with all current and future regulation and laws.
Responsibilities   Support the Managers, especially in assessing risks
Ensure that all the safety equipment are correctly positioned and running, all equipment are safe to use, people know how to use them and do it correctly.
Manage the Behavior Based Safety (BBS) process
Provide information and training to operators
Manage and coordinate periodic HSE activities: legal controls (e.g. fire, lifting, etc.), waste disposal, deadlines, choice and delivery of DPI
Analyze accidents, first aids, near misses and hazards
Conduct internal audits and inspections
Cover the function of operator for prevention and protection service (ASPP)
Qualifications  Degree in engineering (better if prevention and safety in the process industry engineering) or technical high school diploma. Knowledge of BBS system. Short experience in the field of safety and / or environment. Good knowledge of the English language both written and spoken. Flexibility and pro-activity attitude, disposition to dealing with people and to the analysis of processes and simultaneously to direct operations in the ward.

Knowledge of computer tools.
One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
