Our client is a leading manufacturing company dedicated to operational excellence and innovation. We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Accountant to join their team and provide valuable insights to the plant management.
Key Responsibilities- Track and analyze inventory using Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (preferred) or any ERP system.
- Utilize advanced MS Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
- Understand and analyze how expenses are incurred at the plant.
- Provide insights to the plant manager on labor hours, material costs, variable indirect labor, and fixed overhead.
- Help plant management understand cost budgets to make informed decisions.
- Support process improvement and tracking initiatives.
- Calculate ROI for various projects and initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Experience with inventory tracking systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains.
- Proficiency in any ERP system.
- Advanced skills in MS Office Excel and Power BI.
- Experience in accounting within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
