Weekly orientation will be provided.

The unit has a total of 10 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:2.Common diagnoses include respiratory failure, DKA, COPD exacerbation, post-heart catheterization, CHF, and post-operative care.

Required education includes a degree in nursing.
