American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least one year of Med/Surg experience.
Details- Work in the Med/Surg unit of a 32-bed hospital floor at a Level IV trauma facility
- Patient ratios of 5:1 on days and 6:1 on nights
- Uses Baxter infusion pumps
- Med Host EHR experience preferred
- Day and night shift options available
- Weekend commitment of 6 shifts within a 6-week schedule
- No call requirements
- Will not float to other units
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year Med/Surg experience required
- Associate Degree of Nursing required
- Experience caring for post-ortho, COPD, DM, CHF, and ESRD patients preferred
- Positive, self-motivated attitude preferred
- Provide direct nursing care to adult Med/Surg patients with a variety of diagnoses
- Black scrubs required per facility dress code
- Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
- Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
