Senior Software Engineer (RDMA Development)

Join us at GGateway as a Senior Software Engineer specializing in RDMA development. You will work on high‑performance software systems within a Linux environment, contributing to advanced technologies for a leading international semiconductor client.

• Type: Full‑Time / Part‑Time (Contract duration 4 months)
• Location: West Bank / Remote
• Level: Mid‑Senior

• Lead development of high‑performance systems using Python, focusing on modular design, CLI tools, and scalable architecture.
• Design and implement RDMA‑based solutions to ensure efficient, low‑latency communication across distributed systems.
• Optimize applications in Linux environments, demonstrating expert knowledge of system internals, file systems, and process handling.
• Configure complex network settings, including IP routing, interface setup, and Ethernet troubleshooting.
• Build and maintain robust TCP/IP‑based client‑server systems using advanced socket programming.
• Perform performance profiling and system tuning, optimizing CPU, memory, and I/O usage.
• Contribute to low‑level development in C++ when performance or system‑level access is required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Hands‑on experience with RDMA (must‑have).
• Proficiency in Python, including functions, modules, and CLI development.
• Experience working in Linux environments with deep understanding of file systems, processes, permissions, and system tools.
• Knowledge of computer networking:
  Ethernet, IP addressing, routing, and interface configuration.
• Familiarity with network diagnostic tools.
• Understanding of TCP/IP protocols, socket programming, and client‑server architecture.
• Basic experience with C++.
• Basic knowledge of performance profiling tools and techniques.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.
