Harris Technologies is seeking a Scientist, Information Security Systems Engineer with a Secret Security Clearance. The role applies current systems security engineering methods, practices, and technologies to the architecture, design, development, evaluation, and integration of systems and networks to maintain system security.
Responsibilities include leading the development and implementation of program protection throughout the System Development Lifecycle, serving as a SME in the area of program protection, drafting Program Protection Plans, interacting with customers to define program protection requirements, and utilizing Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation and authorization (A&A) processes.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant ISSE experience, a minimum of Collateral Secret security clearance, and professional experience with RMF. Preferred skills include experience in configuration and use of cyber defense and vulnerability assessment tools and an Active TS/SCI Clearance.
Essential Functions:- Lead the development and implementation of program protection throughout the System Development Lifecycle.
- Serve as a SME in the area of program protection.
- Draft Program Protection Plans, Cybersecurity Strategies, Security Classification Guides, and Program Protection Plans.
- Interact with customer to define program protection requirements, solutions, trades, costs, implementation, system impacts, and effectiveness.
- Utilize Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation and authorization (A&A) processes.
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant ISSE experience.
- Minimum of Collateral Secret security clearance required.
- Professional experience with RMF required.
