As a Sr Specialist CAD Designer
, you will:

• Work with programs at all phases of the product lifecycle to develop and document designs from conceptual representation through final documentation.
• Maintain the integrity of product data through PLM and CAD tools within the appropriate processes and controls.
• Manage overall product data with our PLM systems, ensuring best practices are followed to ensure error‑free operation.
• Enact design changes with direction from program and other engineering functions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert with comprehensive knowledge of processes and tools and manage large, complex project models of substantial size and importance to the organization with minimal oversight or direction.
• Communicate internally and externally to explain and influence changes to practices, processes, and approaches.
• Make significant improvements in processes, systems, or products and provide input into new products/processes and implement operational plans that have measurable impact on business or functional results.

Essential Functions
:

• Develop and maintain solid models aligned with Client processes.
• Develop documentation (drawings, etc.) as part of a products data.
• Oversee the quality of design data from others.
• Recognize potential errors in design and data management and communicate to program/functional leadership.
• Implement changes to a products data based on guidance from the program team.
• Assist program teams in major milestones (reviews).
• Assist programs in task development as appropriate.
• Assist the development of proposals.
• Create and manage large and complex CAD models and their corresponding data.
• Subject Matter Expert on process and product lines.
• Subject Matter Expert on PTC CREO, and AutoCAD Inventor.

Preferred Additional Skills
:

• AutoCAD Inventor.
• PTC CREO.
• Oracle Agile PLM.

Ideal candidate will have
:

• Comprehensive level knowledge of CAD and CAD Tools.
• Comprehensive level knowledge of large model and data management best practices.
• Knowledge of project management.
• CAD/Technology Specific Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 7 years of prior relevant experience.
• CAD/Technology Specific associate’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience including leadership in CAD data management and design.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS
:

• Pay Range*: $58‑$60 per hour. Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
