Test Bench Engineer

Acara Solutions is seeking a Test Bench Engineer to join our client in Palm Bay, FL on a Full-Time, Direct Hire basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in computer engineering, electronics, and microchip testing to work hands‑on with cutting‑edge semiconductor and microelectronic devices.

Pay range: $80,000.00/yr – $/yr (Base pay range)

• Design, configure, and debug semiconductor/microelectronic test setups, including DUT boards, PCB interfaces, burn‑in boards, and custom fixtures.
• Analyze datasheets, test plans, and MIL‑STD requirements to define electrical and functional test conditions.
• Perform electrical characterization, functional, programming, and environmental testing.
• Maintain detailed engineering notes, schematics, and test records.
• Support Sales and Engineering with quoting, hardware needs, and process improvements.
• Contribute to LabVIEW or automation development (preferred).

• Background in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
• Hands‑on experience with test bench equipment, semiconductor/microchip testing, or DUT/PCB/Burn‑in board setup and debugging.
• Experience with software related to testing physical devices, including LabVIEW or other automation tools.
• Strong ability to read datasheets, create test plans, and execute accurate, repeatable tests.
