The L3 Harris company is seeking motivated and talented electromagnetic effects E3 (TEMPEST) design and analysis engineers to join the L3 Harris TEMPEST electrical design engineering core group.

The entry level TEMPEST Design engineer will be responsible for the execution of various TEMPEST design activities for a multitude of systems ranging from submersible to space platforms recognized around the world. This position is for an entry level engineer professional with a highly inquisitive desire to develop technical expertise in the TEMPEST field.

This position provides an excellent opportunity to develop new solutions, help grow as the next generation of TEMPEST engineers with a career path leading to the submittal of a candidacy for a position in the L3 Harris technical fellowship program.

• Perform TEMPEST design and analysis of systems using HFSS and other software packages.
• Coordinate test and verify TEMPEST design requirements with teammates, customers, and system architects through the development and sustainment of various L3 Harris systems.
• Develop control plans, test procedures, and test reports.
• Perform design analysis and implementation mitigation mechanisms to ensure TEMPEST compliance.
• Evaluation of design drawings to verify and correct system design to NSTISSAM 1-92 standards.
• This position may include annual travel needs up to 10%
• You must be able to obtain a US security clearance as a job requirement.

To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.
