Job Title: Sr. Specialist, Program Finance
Job Location: Palm Bay, FL
The Advanced Processing & Ground Systems in Palm Bay is seeking a Program Finance Analyst. The role supports the financial control of complex programs, serving as a key business partner to Program Managers and functional teams to establish and maintain the program’s financial plan. Responsibilities include performing financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, cash‑flow forecasting, and variance analysis; providing insight into cost and schedule health;
supporting finance leadership with early indicators of program health; reviewing and approving recommendations for financial planning and control; monitoring program adherence to approved budget; and assisting in internal and external audits.
- Support major programs including Cost‑Plus, with contractual Earned Value Management System (EVMS) reporting requirements.
- Preparation of EV deliverables and variance analysis for both internal management and customers.
- Change management, EAC analysis and reporting.
- Orders, Revenue, Operating Income, and PWC forecasting and analysis.
- Experience using People Soft, COBRA, Hyperion, and advanced Excel skills.
- Monitor and control cost.
- Interface with various levels of management, Program Office, and functional departments to support programs.
- Audit support.
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
- Strong Excel/Office skills.
- Motivated worker, comfortable working independently in a deadline‑driven environment, with accountability and attention to detail.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, professional demeanor, and ability to work effectively with junior to upper‑level coworkers.
- Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills; self‑directed, proactive, and good communicator.
