Lead Program Scheduler role at L3
Harris Technologies – Palm Bay, FL. This position will be responsible for coordinating surge support to Tier One Programs including direct support for tools implementations, major replans including OTB/OTS, formal internal reprogramming, Baseline Review support, and subject matter expertise to Programs for Cost and Schedule Integration and Earned Value support.

- Develop and maintain complex program schedules including resource loading and Earned Value Analysis.
- Help develop the format, tools, and tracking/reporting methods for standardization and enterprise-wide resource management.
- Support programs in developing plans and integrating inputs from all programs; interface with all elements of the program team.
- Track plans and schedules, perform risk analysis, and identify and resolve critical path and network logic conflicts.
- Utilize project management techniques (Gantt, Critical path, Driving Path, Variance metrics, milestone charts, Earned Value Management) to gauge progress and identify variances.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and project control system guidelines per DECM metrics.
- Lead or participate in scheduling status reviews as needed.
- Provide guidance, coaching and training to planning/scheduling employees.
- Develop integrated master schedules using IMP, SOW and WBS.
- Create and track plans and schedules, perform risk analysis, and resolve critical path conflicts.
- Coordinate with finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality to ensure integrated schedules.
- Analyze program schedules to evaluate resource needs and Earned Value performance.
- Prepare, develop, and coordinate integrated master plan and schedule (IMP/IMS) using MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Support communications with internal and external stakeholders about policies, procedures, and practices.
- Contribute to department goals and planning efforts, including budgets and operational plans.
- Lead scheduling status reviews and brief senior leaders as required.
- Must have an Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance to start.
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience; or Graduate Degree with 7 years; or, in lieu of a degree, 13 years of related experience.
- Experience with PASEG 4.0, EVMS (EIA 748-D), IPPD, IPMR.
- Ability to perform Critical Path Analysis, Schedule Risk Analysis, Schedule Metrics (BEI, CPLI, SPI).
- Experience with subcontractor schedule integration and large, high-visibility DoD projects.
- Experience creating and maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and related reports for program management and senior management.
- Monte Carlo Schedule Risk Analysis, Space and Airborne Systems programs knowledge, and experience with Project Server.
- EVMS – Earned Value Management Systems expertise.
