We are seeking a skilled Commercial Kitchen Equipment and Refrigeration Technician to ensure our kitchens and bakeries operate efficiently. Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial kitchen appliances, refrigeration, and HVAC systems across our campus.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment
- Install and calibrate ventilation and appliance systems
- Conduct preventive maintenance and safety inspections
- Ensure compliance with safety standards
- Use diagnostic tools and hand/power tools for repairs
- Refrigeration:
Walk-in coolers, ice machines - Cooking:
Commercial ovens, fryers, steam kettles - Ventilation & HVAC:
Exhaust hoods, rooftop units - Sanitation:
Dishwashers, sanitation systems

Minimum Requirements- CFC Universal Certification
- EPA 608 certification
- Legal work authorization in the US
- Willingness to relocate to Madison, WI
- COVID-19 vaccination
- At least 3 years of experience in:
- Kitchen equipment service and repair
- Refrigeration system installation and repair
- Electrical diagnostics
- Gas equipment and piping
