• Conduct all assigned work in a safe manner, adhering to safety, environmental, and contamination control policies.
• Attend and successfully complete required technician training classes; maintain awareness of technical changes in the industry.
• Maintain necessary set of tools required for job performance to diagnose, disassemble, and assemble components to manufacturer’s specifications.
• Perform designated repairs on customer or company owned equipment including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical, hydraulic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair with lower level troubleshooting.
• Work in a neat and orderly fashion, constantly looking for ways of improving the methods of work, work area, and safety standards.
• Maintain field service truck in proper condition by following contamination control guidelines, housekeeping, and performing other general maintenance duties.
• Inspect components to ensure maximum parts are being reused to control repair costs.
• Complete required documentation utilizing appropriate software to document repairs performed on equipment and accounting for repair times.
• Monitor job expenses versus repair estimates and ensure that the supervisor is aware of any cost over run prior to job completion.
• Approach work in a positive manner, maintain conduct supportive of the work team, and set the standard for others to follow.

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of experience in field service or heavy equipment maintenance.
• Proficient in use of a computer, Microsoft Office, and relevant dealer software programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
