- Conduct all assigned work in a safe manner, adhering to all applicable safety, environmental and contamination control policies, procedures and regulations. Wear proper personal protective equipment.
- Attend and successfully complete required technician training classes.
- Maintain necessary set of tools required for job performance to diagnose, disassemble and assemble components to manufacturer's specifications.
- Diagnose and perform designated repairs on customer or company owned equipment including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs.
- Work in a neat and orderly fashion, constantly looking for ways of improving methods of work, work area, and safety standards.
- Inspect components to ensure maximum parts reuse to control repair costs. Complete required documentation utilizing appropriate software to document repairs performed on equipment, and accounting for repair times.
- Monitor job expenses versus repair estimates and ensure supervisor is aware of any cost overrun prior to job completion.
- Approach work positively, maintain conduct supportive of the work team, and set standard for others to follow.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing tasks on time while maintaining safety and quality expectations.
- Train and/or mentor others in department.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- High School diploma or GED.
- 3-4 years experience.
- Able to comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing.
- Valid Driver License.
- Successfully completed all required training curriculum to be designated Service Field Tech II.
- Proficiency in the use of a computer, Microsoft Office products and relevant Dealer software programs.
Job requirements frequently change requiring re‑training once or more per year.
