Facilities Technician

This Facilities Tech D will provide support as a skilled technician (replacement). Requires 10-20 years’HVACexperience, requires basic mastery of HVAC elements. This Tech D will coordinate work of contractors and interface with customers to accommodate all program requirements. You must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel to all5 sites in Brevard. Will be on call for Program critical equipment issues.

Business work orders are completed within 5 days, sometimes within the hour. Support HVAC requests for repairs/replacement of3.5

MSF in 76 buildings spread across5 locations in Brevard. Basic computer skills Use tracking software to ensure components are accurately installed, tracked, etc. Interface with all levels of the organization to report on HVAC issues/repairs/replacements.
6-8 years’experience in HVAC certified Refrigerant Mechanic. Role is customer focused;metric driven and has an expectation of timely completion and close out of Work Orders. Will work in a diverse and changing environment supporting many internal and external customers simultaneously. Valid driver’s License. Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Self-starter with good written and verbal communications skills. Microsoft Suite basic skills. Ability to read and interpret HVAC elements and building layouts
