Software Engineer, Web Developer, C# ​/ Unity Developer

Job Description

Experienced Software Engineer / Web Developer to create C# .NET / MVC Entity Framework web applications for internal use by Harris ES and EIS segments. Support web architecture, legacy applications, enterprise‑wide applications and software upgrades.

• BSCS, BSSE or equivalent.
• Five years’ experience with C#.NET MVC, JavaScript, and JQuery.
• AJAX and web services experience.
• Project leadership and Agile development process experience.
• Good organizational, problem‑solving and communication skills, and a willingness to work with teams and individuals.
• Experience writing and maintaining automated tests.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture methodologies.
• Ability to learn new skills, meet deadlines, embrace new technologies, and follow process.
• Capability to gather and interpret requirements, use source control, review code, locate problems, and provide and receive feedback.
• Self‑starter who solves problems quickly.
• Ability to create user‑friendly front ends and write maintainable code.

• Develop C# .NET applications using Visual Studio 2015.
• Use SVN, JIRA, and Remedy for source control and issue tracking.
• Evaluate and recommend web architecture and process improvements.
• Troubleshoot, upgrade, and rewrite web applications developed in‑house and by external developers.
• Provide operation and maintenance support of enterprise‑wide web applications.
