Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Management Support Driver with strong knowledge of transportation and hazardous material shipment. The candidate must be able to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL). The candidate will communicate within and outside of their function to ensure the smooth transportation and management of inventory.

• Operates vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws
• Transports loads safely and in a timely manner over required route, obeying all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations
• Deftly maneuvers truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas; follows loading crew signals
• Assists with loading/unloading of goods and materials, using specialized equipment when warranted; unloads empty skids and returns all equipment to designated area
• Maintains signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork in SHIP! database; delivers documentation to PHS&T task lead or other appropriate staff when delivery route is complete
• Reports maintenance malfunctions in a timely manner
• Arrange trailers in shipping yards for optimum loading patterns
• Uses Microsoft Office to create and submit travel plans
• Performs other shipping, transportation, and receiving related duties as assigned
• Must be able to sit for prolonged periods in a vehicle/trailer cab
• Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state DOT regulations
• Must pass DOT physical
• Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds at a time
• Must be able to travel frequently
• Must be able to obtain a commercial driver's license up to a Commercial Driver's License

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly required
• Class A (CDL
  
  A) and HAZMAT certification

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points
• Must have strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, shipping database)
• Ability to remain focused in a busy environment
