Job Title: Project Engineer (Land Development / Civil Engineering)
Compensation: Up to $90K

Tiello has partnered with a leading Land Management & Development Firm who is looking for a Project Engineer to support the engineering and environmental projects valued anywhere from $40MM+ in the South Florida area.
Role SummaryThe ideal candidate will have 3 years of engineering experience in areas of general civil engineering or in water resources, and will be responsible for project planning, design, construction, project operations and permit compliance
. This position may assist in managing other contractual engineering services when necessary. The Superintendent and the Project Manager must work together as a complementary team.
Land Development and Construction across Renewable Energies, Governmental, Commercial, Residential, Marine, Agricultural, as well as Private and Public Works ($40M)
Job Responsibilities- Serve under the engineer of record for various projects, including, but not limited to permitting, construction, operations.
- Provide technical support for projects beyond the engineering components, as appropriate.
- Serve as a collaborator with other team members on multiple programs and projects.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Engineer Intern (EI) Certification in the State of Florida or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification, and a minimum of 0-3 years professional experience (including internships), or in the areas of water resources or general civil engineering.
- Proficient technological skills standard to the engineering profession with Excel, AutoCAD and GIS software experience preferred.
- A desire to work on projects involving agricultural operations, hydrological and ecological systems, and general construction.
- Familiarity with environmental related permitting and reporting and familiarity with regulatory agency permitting and reporting processes and interfaces.
- Willingness to travel or pass background/drug screen
- Eligibility to work in the U.S.
