Job SummaryAs an Early Childhood Education Assistant Teacher at Sunshine Academy, you’ll help care for little ones. You’ll provide a safe and loving environment that nurtures the social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and physical development of each child.
Responsibilities- Assist in implementing lesson plans that are balanced and appropriate to development levels, utilizing a comprehensive and hands-on curriculum
- Assist in documenting learning experiences through displays and pictures
- Maintain positive informal and formal communication with families on a daily basis
- Maintain a safe, comforting and stimulating environment for students
- Facilitate and maintain childcare licensing standards
- Be friendly and work as part of a team in a rewarding, fast-paced environment
- Must Pass Level II Background Screening
- Strong verbal communicator with an upbeat personality who is comfortable and excels at speaking to parents
- Energetic, nurturing, positive, child-friendly personality
- Shows initiative; strong work ethic
- Eagerness to Learn
- Reliable and Ready to Make a Difference
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Willing to learn and take online classes
