• Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems. Educates patients about the exam and completes all exams in a timely manner, maintaining workflow and minimizing empty table time.
• Operates all imaging equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, and monitors, adapting protocols for patients of all ages.
• Practicing infection control standards and using approved PPE and disinfectant agents.
• Follows department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures prior to starting exams.
• Performs high-quality CT examinations in accordance with provider orders and departmental protocols, ensuring optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis.

Qualifications required:

• Bachelor's, High School Grad or Equiv (Required)

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)

• Certified Radiologic Technologist (R.T.

-CERT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body

• Department of Safety and Professional Services Licensed (DSPS-LIC) - Accredited Issuing Body

• Licensed Radiology Technologist, Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT)

• Licensed Radiology Technologist, Kansas State Board of Healing Arts (L.R.T.)

• Medical Radiation Technology, IEMA (MRT-IEMA)

• Medical Radiologic Tech, (MRT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
