Job OverviewJoin our Sports Med & Rehab team as a Part‑Time Physical Therapist serving the members of Hammock Dunes, an exclusive oceanfront community. In this concierge‑style role, you'll provide best‑practice outpatient physical therapy services in a peaceful, private fitness environment with stunning coastal views.
This role is ideal for a therapist who values autonomy, personalized care, and the chance to make a lasting impact in a boutique‑style setting. You’ll collaborate with our larger team across the region, bringing the same Advent Health commitment to whole‑person, compassionate care.
ResponsibilitiesThe Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients as medically prescribed, in a professional manner and within hospital standards, adhering to the corporate compliance plan and all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies, and accrediting bodies.
The Value You Will Bring to the Team- Designs and implements a treatment plan of care utilizing practice standards and recommended techniques and modalities, insurance guidelines, and patients needs.
- Assesses patient's ability to safely and effectively perform functional mobility skills, and evaluates muscle, nerve, joint, and integumentary systems.
- Monitors patient response to and progress in treatment, modifying treatment plan as appropriate.
- Provides discharge planning assistance and information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and follow‑up services.
The expertise and experiences need to succeed
:
- Entry level competency of physical therapy practice, theory, principles, and applications as defined in competency/department policies [Required]
- Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English [Required]
- Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
- Physical Therapist (PT) [Required] OR
- Physical Therapist
-Temporary (PT‑TEMP) [Required]
- Experience in treating Ortho patients in outpatient clinics
