- Completes nutrition-focused physical assessments, takes measurements, reviews medical records, collects data via interviews, and evaluates anthropometric status.
- Evaluates assessment data to identify nutrition risks, nutrition problems, criteria consistent with malnutrition, knowledge deficits, and high‑risk health behaviors.
- Offers nutrition interventions, orders, education, counseling, and referrals to other services.
- May place feeding tubes or perform indirect calorimetry studies.
- Provides counseling and education using evidence‑based techniques that reflect appropriate health literacy and cultural sensitivity to patients with disease processes requiring nutritional management.
- Bachelor’s (Required), Master’s (Required)
- Certified Dietitian (CD) – Accredited Issuing Body
- Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist (LDN) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
- Licensed Dietitian (LD) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
$23.71 - $44.09 per hour
