2nd Shift Manufacturing Operator

Job Description

As a Manufacturing Operator you will use equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production process in a climate-controlled environment to create products and distribute them to customers.

• Set-up and run manual, automatic and/or semiautomatic machines and related ancillary equipment in a production/processing operation.
• Follow production/ process specifications or instructions to manufacture a product. This may include monitoring speed, temperature, diameter measuring equipment, flow meters, gauges, valve position to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
• Perform in-process quality checks for process and product characteristics using prescribed gauges, meters, microscopes, and micrometers.
• Report any malfunctions or abnormalities and make minor adjustments and repairs to equipment.
• Jobs may be of short, medium or long duration, requiring frequent change in set up and variation in cycle.

• High school diploma/GED
• Dependability, can-do attitude, and a strong work ethic
• Candidates must be able to stand for long periods of time, work in a manufacturing environment, and wear personal protective equipment (PPE).

• $15/hr + $0.75 shift differential
• Shift: Mon-Thurs 4pm-2am
• Health, Dental, and Vision coverage after 30 days
• 401K with company contribution of 5% plus matching after 90 days
• 88 paid holiday hours per year
• Paid time off (up to 120 hours after one year)
