Responsibilities- Solid waste drum management
- Compacting to achieve maximum drum capacity
- Liquid waste handling and storage
- Plating tank PH level checks and adjustments/water level
- Assisting the EHS manager in preparing and moving drums to the pickup area
- Weekly chemical inventory for the purchasing group
- Loading and unloading materials from trucks, operating forklifts and other machinery, and ensuring safe handling of both hazardous and non-hazardous materials
Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, combined with organizational abilities. Self‑motivated with a results‑driven approach, strong problem‑solving skills, and experience in lean manufacturing and 5S principles. Forklift certified with general safety training and hazard communication training. Proven ability to create a positive team culture and maintain a safe, clean environment.
